Afternoon Milonga with TDJ Dimitris Kanavouras

Dimitris has been playing tango music since 2016. In 2010, he discovered Argentine Tango and immediately fell in love with it! He learned Tango through regular classes and numerous seminars in Europe with renowned maestros. He co-organizes milongas in his city, Larissa, and is one of the organizers of the Abrazo Milonguero Tango Festival & Marathon.

For the past 6 years, he has been traveling for Tango, participating in events throughout Greece and Europe as a dancer and musicalizador. He enjoys blending “guardia vieja” with the “golden age” and “new orchestras” to build and maintain a bridge of communication with the dancers. Creating tandas that cultivate an atmosphere where everyone can harmoniously connect is his goal.

Apart from Tango, he is also a passionate photographer and always finds time to capture memorable moments through his photographs at milongas.
